  not. I live in Dartmouth and for the longest time when John was running it I really enjoyed the food . When they opened the Halifax location and he moved to run this location the quality of the food diminished as well as some service quality. I spoke to John on this topic once and for a short time he returned to Dartmouth and the quality returned. Sadly his return was short and sweet. I have had 3 very dissatisfying visits to the Dartmouth location as of late so I decided to visit the Halifax location tonight hoping John was running the show and he was and the meal and service was great . The wife was happy, the kids were happy and I was happy. I just wish we could get him back in Dartmouth. It is going to be a sad day for this franchise if they ever lost him as no one cares about the quality or the service like he does.

  Large selection of steaks, reasonable prices and good service. The derby tips are awesome and come with gravy,onions,and green peppers- not to be missed. Fast efficient service and comfortable seating.

  Service is good. Food is good. Been going there for years. I love their steak. If you never been there, you should go.

  I ordered a New York striploin steak. I don’t know what animal it came from, but that was not beef. I asked the waitress why the inside of my rare steak appeared as though it was well done. She informed me that the marinade they used was very dark, hence the inside color of the steak. I have seen countless steaks, and not one of them wasn’t still pink in the middle regardless of the marinade... This restaurant is the last place in the world I would eat. It costs the same here for a piece of horse meat as it does at a respectable restaurant for a proper steak. Even the mushrooms were canned. Gross, Gross, Gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
