  The staff here know what's up! I was served by Nathan, he's great, super flexible in options and very knowledgeable. Just explain your goals and honestly any of the staff can find some sort of solution for you. I highly recommend this spot!

  Great spot. I go there for biking stuff and I don't catch that "bike shop snob" vibe from the employees like I do in other shops around town. Weather it's for lack of knowledge or lack of specialization, the employees don't talk to you like a know nothing peasant and they rely on each other to get answers for their customers. I come here over other businesses because I feel valued and well received. A lesson and an example that others can and should learn from

  Top quality gear, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. It is a relatively small store as far as MEC's go, but they do have quite a lot of stock. Staff know their products very well and are able to help pick the right gear for what you're doing.

  Great place to get your winter needs. Watch for clearance racks because they get sold pretty quickly. It does require you to get a one time membership fee of 5$. Also this particular store does not give plastic bags, so byob or carry it somehow.

  Love MEC, but find the prices high and parking terrible. Almost bought a small folding plastic spatula for camping, but then found out the fine print says the chemicals in it are known to cause cancer and birth defects in a US state. Why would both MEC and Sportchek carry this brand, then? If I recall correctly, the brand is MSR or something like that.
