    A lovely spot in town. Small but cozy. The coffee and bakeries are delicious. Staff are friendly.

    Wonderful Lunch. Delicious turkey sandwich. Surprising because I have always thought of the Gingerbread Haus as a place of breads, cookies and desserts. My mistake.

    First rate baked goods plus a lovely little restaurant.

    Got one of their whole grain sourdough breads yesterday and was just blown away by how delicious it was. Nice and dense but fluffy with a nice nutty flavor. Delicious toasted with butter or just plain. Not ashamed to say a friend and I polished off the whole loaf in an afternoon...didn't even feel bloated or gross like I usually do with commercial loaves of bread.

    It's one of the best bakeries in Halifax. Great breads and cakes in the European tradition.
